Last Week Nokia jumped into Netbook market by announcing Nokia Booklet 3G mini laptop. And from what it looks like, its more than just a Netbook. Interestingly! Nokia itself is hesitating to brand this machine as a Netbook and goes on by calling it as a mini-laptop.

Here are some Features of Nokia Booklet 3G Mini-Laptop

Intel Atom Processor on the back-end.
A Windows-based machine running Windows 7.
Glass display of 10.1 inches with HD display.
Battery life up to 12-hours.
Integrated 3G wireless and WiFi.
A-GPS, webcam, Bluetooth and SD card reader.

No Further details are available such as price and when its going to be introduce in Market. Really looking forward to know more about this gadget as it can set trend for upcoming laptop and mobile industry.

Samsung unleashed X420 and X520 CULV Ultra Thin Notebooks

Samsung Laptops unleashed its new range of products X420 and X520. Much details are not available at the moment as we just heard of them.

Here are early details of these two new samsung brands line.

X420 Features:

Screen – 14inch
1.3GHz Intel Pentium dual-core SU2700
3GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive
No optical drive in sight
weigh – 1.7kg

X520 Features:

Screen – 15.6inches
Intel GMA X4500M graphics
ultra-low power consumption SU2700 CPU (same as X420)
4GB of DDR3 RAM and a 320GB HDD
Weight – 2.09kg with its 6-cell battery

They are suppose to be coming to Europe in October, and while we don’t have any solid pricing information both have been estimated to be around €700 ($1,000).

iUnika GYY Worlds First Solar-Powered Netbook [Video Review]

A few months ago Spanish company iUnika launched solar-powered netbook named iUnika GYY. Gyy weighs only 700 grams, runs on Linux and is made of biodegradable materials.

The Gyy runs on a 400Mhz MIPS processor and has only 128MB of RAM. On the good side though, you get a 64GB solid-state storage space, three USB ports, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi.

Gyy’s display is not on the brilliant side, either, with only an 800×480 resolution on the 8-inch screen. But these rather antiquated specs have their advantage, as you would never run out of power on the Gyy, thanks to the solar panel mounted on the lid of the netbook.

The solar panel charges the Gyy’s internal battery and you can check the state of the battery via the small LCD display on the lower left corner of the netbook.

Most important thing is it is cheap with costing you only $200. However, The iUnika GYY Solar Powered Netbook is only available at the moment in the European Market.
